US President Joe Biden has withdrawn his name for the upcoming election. Joe Biden has proposed Kamala Harris for the President. Joe Biden has withdrawn his candidature from the post of President saying that it is ‘in the interest of his party and the nation’.
Biden has withdrawn his name four months before the election. His decision has made the White House race interesting.
Joe Biden said in a statement on social media that “he supports the name of current Vice President Kamala Harris as a presidential candidate”.

The names of four Democratic leaders have come out so far for this. The first name in this is Andy Beshear, the Governor of Kentucky, who came into the limelight by defeating a Donald Trump-supported candidate in his area, considered a stronghold of the Republican Party. He has made his mark as a liberal in a state that has long supported the Republicans. Kelly was a Navy pilot and flew 39 fighter planes during the Gulf War before working at NASA.
